Domaine 'à Lafitte' is a family estate in Sion, in the Gers department at the heart of Armagnac country. Three generations of passionate producers have passed down their savoir-faire, love of the vine, and the secrets of crafting this magnificent spirit. The estate specializes in Bas-Armagnac (the westernmost geographical region, straddling the Landes and Gers), and has produced vintage Armagnacs since its creation in 1945. The estate works primarily with the Baco grape (a hybrid of Folle Blanche and Noah) which gives roundness, sweetness, and ripe fruit aromas after long aging, and Ugni Blanc, the distillation grape par excellence. Each vintage represents proof of excellence and meticulous work by the producer.
