Domaine Hubert-Brochard
About the Winery
Domaine Hubert-Brochard has been writing its story for five generations in Chavignol, just a few kilometers from Sancerre, at the heart of one of the Loire Valley's most prestigious appellations. The estate's vineyards span two prestigious appellations: Sancerre and Pouilly-Fumé. The Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir are planted on three main soil types: white earth (clay-limestone), flint (silex), and caillottes (limestone soils). Since its creation, the family has been committed to preserving and reflecting the diversity of their terroirs in their wines. The estate is certified 'Haute Valeur Environnementale' (HVE), and a portion of the vineyard is in conversion to organic agriculture. The visit includes a tasting of wines paired with Crottin de Chavignol, a unique Sancerre experience.
