About the Winery
Domaine Bott-Geyl is heir to a family tradition dating back to 1775, when ancestor Jean-Martin Geyl tended his vines in Alsace. Jean-Christophe Bott has managed the estate since 1993, working with low yields and converting the domaine to organic agriculture in 2000 and biodynamic viticulture in 2002. The estate's philosophy is to intervene minimally in the transformation of grape juice into wine, letting nature do its work to reflect the terroir and vintage in each bottle. Today, the estate cultivates approximately 15-18 hectares spread over 7 communes from Ribeauvillé to Kientzheim, including 6 Grands Crus (Sonnenglanz, Grafenreben, Schlossberg, Schoenenbourg, and others), 4 Lieux-dits, and 1 historic Clos. The estate is a member of Biodyvin and the Collège Culinaire de France. Their wines include Riesling, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir, Pinot Blanc, Muscat, and Crémant d'Alsace.

The domain is open Monday to Saturday from 9:00 to 11:30 and 14:00 to 17:30, closed Sundays and holidays. Free tastings for individuals, guided tours for groups by reservation. The estate also offers accommodation in a 250m² gîte on the wine cellars with a south-facing terrace overlooking the vineyards and the three castles of Ribeauvillé.
