Domaine François Schwach
About the Winery
Domaine François Schwach is a family estate for three generations, founded in 1950 by François Schwach. Located in Hunawihr, one of France's most beautiful villages, the estate covers 18 hectares spread across 7 communes in the heart of Alsace's finest wine regions. The vineyard includes four Grand Cru sites: Osterberg, Schoenenbourg, Rosacker, and Kaefferkopf. Today, the third generation Sébastien Schwach carries on the family tradition. The estate is certified organic and produces a wide range of wines including Riesling, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Gris, Muscat, Pinot Noir, and Crémant d'Alsace. They are specialists in Crémant d'Alsace, with five extra-brut cuvées produced by the traditional method, regularly awarded medals. The domain welcomes visitors for tastings and guided tours.
