About the Winery
Schaeferhof is a magnificent guest house in Murbach, Alsace, built in the 18th century as a former Metairie of the Princes Abbots of Murbach and listed on the Supplementary Register of Historic Monuments. Located in the heart of the Vosges Natural Park, the house features wooden floors and doors, lime-washed half-timbered walls, and antique furnishings. The property is surrounded by meadows and a vegetable garden. The hostess prepares gastronomic dinners using produce from the garden, and breakfast features 32 homemade jams prepared by Robert. The house has 4 charming rooms: Chambre Alexandre, Chambre Sacha, Petite suite Camille, and Suite Elsa & Julie.
