Jean-Noël Collin is a wine producer in the Charentes region of western France. The Charentes is internationally renowned as the home of Cognac, one of the world's finest spirits. The region's mild oceanic climate and limestone soils are ideal for growing Ugni Blanc, the primary grape variety used for Cognac production. In addition to Cognac, the region produces Pineau des Charentes, a fortified aperitif wine made by blending fresh grape juice with Cognac. Jean-Noël Collin represents the tradition of small-scale, artisanal production that has made the Charentes region famous for centuries.
