About the Winery
Claude Audebert is a wine producer in the Charentes region of western France. The Charentes region is best known as the home of Cognac, but it also produces still wines and Pineau des Charentes. The region's mild oceanic climate and limestone soils create ideal conditions for growing Ugni Blanc, the primary grape variety used for Cognac. The area has a long tradition of viticulture dating back to Roman times, and small family estates like that of Claude Audebert continue this heritage, producing wines and spirits that reflect the unique character of the Charentes terroir.
“A wine producer in the Charentes region, continuing the tradition of Cognac and Pineau des Charentes production.”
