Domaine Philippe Martin
About the Winery
Champagne Philippe Martin is a family estate with traditions dating back to the 18th century, operating as a récoltant manipulant. The Maison 1892, a typical Champagne character house proudly displaying the intertwined initials 'MR' (Martin-Robert), was built at the end of the 19th century. The family has been crafting Champagnes for over two centuries across 10 hectares in the terroirs of Cumières, Hautvillers, Damery, Verneuil, and Vitry. Today, Adeline Martin leads the family estate, following in the footsteps of her father Philippe Martin. The estate holds HVE (Haute Valeur Environnementale) and VDC (Viticulture Durable en Champagne) certifications. Visitors can enjoy unique experiences including 2CV tours through the vineyards and visits to the family museum showcasing century-old winemaking equipment.
“A family Champagne house since the 18th century, crafting wines from 10 hectares in the Vallée de la Marne.”
