Domaine Kuehn
About the Winery
Domaine Kuehn is a historic Alsatian wine estate founded in 1675 in the village of Ammerschwihr, located just 9 kilometers from Colmar. The estate encompasses 46 hectares of vineyards that benefit from an exceptional climate and extend across the most beautiful slopes of the village and its surroundings. For centuries, generations have succeeded in cultivating these vineyards with passion. The flagship of Domaine Kuehn and Ammerschwihr is the Kaefferkopf, an Alsace Grand Cru vineyard first mentioned in 1328 and classified as Grand Cru in 2007. The Kaefferkopf is distinguished by its complex geological origin and by its assemblage, mainly of Gewurztraminer, which is rare in Grand Cru wines. Today, the estate's oenologist ensures the quality and uniqueness of their wines and Crémants d'Alsace.
“Founded in 1675 in Ammerschwihr, Domaine Kuehn is renowned for its Kaefferkopf Grand Cru wines.”
