About the Winery

Domaine Bott-Geyl is a historic Alsatian wine estate dating back to 1795 when Jean, ancestor of Jean-Christophe Bott, crafted his first wine. In 1993, Jean-Christophe took the reins of wine production at the estate, and by 2000, he committed to sustainable practices, initiating organic farming. In 2002, the domaine transitioned all its vineyards to biodynamic farming. The estate produces a diverse selection of wines including crisp whites, rich reds, and refreshing Roses from grape varieties such as Riesling, Muscat, Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir, and Gewurztraminer. The cellar is open for visits Monday through Friday, and the winery welcomes groups of fewer than ten for complimentary wine tastings. Bott-Geyl's mission is to harmonize modern techniques with traditional methods while prioritizing ecological health.

A historic Alsace estate since 1795, producing biodynamic wines from Riesling, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Gris and more.
