Gérard Marsault is a wine producer based in Chabournay, in the Vienne department of the Loire Valley. The estate produces wines in the Haut-Poitou appellation area, which is known for its fresh and aromatic white wines made from Sauvignon Blanc, as well as light and fruity red wines from Pinot Noir and Cabernet Franc. The region's continental climate with oceanic influences and its limestone soils create ideal conditions for viticulture. Gérard Marsault represents the tradition of small, family-owned wine production that is characteristic of the Loire Valley.
