Sca du Clos de Mérienne is a wine estate located in Gondeville, in the Charentes region of western France. The estate is situated near the town of Cognac, in an area renowned for its spirit production as well as its wines. The Charentes region has a long tradition of viticulture, with vineyards that benefit from a mild oceanic climate. The estate produces wines that reflect the local terroir and also likely produces Pineau des Charentes, the region's famous fortified aperitif wine.
