Christian Bannière
About the Winery
Champagne Christian Bannière is a family estate in Bouzy, one of Champagne's most celebrated Grand Cru villages, located on the southern flank of the Montagne de Reims. Christian Bannière took over the family estate in 1978, which was founded after World War I when his father Jacques produced the first Champagnes in 1948. The estate cultivates 4.5 hectares in Bouzy, famous for its Pinot Noir. Christian has created cuvées exclusively from this prestigious Grand Cru, including the 'Masterclass' range. The Blanc de Noirs is predominantly Pinot Noir (80%), while the Rose also showcases this variety. The champagnes are known for their power, complexity, and refined dosage.
“A Grand Cru Champagne house in Bouzy, crafting powerful Pinot Noir-dominant champagnes since 1948.”
