Pierre Ducolomb is a wine producer in the Savoie region of the French Alps. He took over the family estate in 1972, which was founded around 1850. The domaine covers 9 hectares and is particularly known for its red wines made from Mondeuse, a grape variety indigenous to Savoie. Pierre Ducolomb's Mondeuse wines have regularly appeared in the Guide Hachette des Vins, one of France's most respected wine guides. He also produces white wines, both still and sparkling (including Crémant de Savoie), from grape varieties such as Jacquère, Altesse, and Chasselas. The Savoie region is characterized by its mountainous terrain, with vineyards planted on steep slopes at relatively high altitudes, creating wines with freshness and minerality.
