About the Winery

Domaine l'Oustau des Lecques is a family-owned estate located at the foot of the Dentelles de Montmirail in Vacqueyras, in the southern Rhône Valley. Bernard Chabran took over the family estate in 1996, representing the fourth generation. The estate produces Côtes du Rhône and Vacqueyras wines, which are bottled on the property. Vacqueyras was promoted to cru status in 1990, joining the ranks of prestigious southern Rhône appellations like Gigondas and Châteauneuf-du-Pape. The domaine's 'Bernardin' cuvée has been recognized for its frank attack and well-structured profile. The wines are crafted from Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre, the classic trio of the southern Rhône.
