About the Winery
Domaine de Chantegrillet is a wine estate in Roussillon, in the Vaucluse department of the southern Rhône Valley. Roussillon (not to be confused with Roussillon in Languedoc) is a village in the Luberon area known for its distinctive ochre cliffs. The estate produces wines from the Côtes du Luberon or Ventoux appellations, which benefit from the Mediterranean climate and limestone soils of the region. The wines are crafted from classic southern Rhône varieties including Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre for reds, and Clairette, Grenache Blanc, and Roussanne for whites.
“An estate in the Luberon region of the southern Rhône Valley, producing wines from classic Mediterranean varieties.”
