Domaine du Bouscat is a wine estate in Saint-Romain-la-Virvée, in the Fronsadais region on the Right Bank of Bordeaux. The estate produces Bordeaux Supérieur wines from classic Right Bank grape varieties including Merlot, Malbec, and Cabernet Franc. Their flagship wine, 'Les Portes de l'Amour,' has received critical acclaim for its concentration and value. The vineyard is situated on the limestone and clay soils typical of the Fronsadais, which are ideal for producing structured, age-worthy red wines. The estate is known for its low yields (around 14 hl/ha) that result in concentrated, expressive wines.
