About the Winery

Domaine de Pialentou is a certified organic wine estate of approximately 10 hectares located on the terraces and hillsides of the left bank of the River Tarn, near Brens in the Gaillac appellation of Southwest France. The estate's name comes from the Occitan word meaning 'stones' or 'pebbles.' Owned since 1998 by the Gervais family (a Franco-Swedish family), the domaine is certified organic and produces wines from the distinctive grape varieties of Gaillac including Braucol (also known as Fer Servadou), Syrah, Merlot, and Cabernet for reds, and Mauzac for whites. The property has 12 hectares of contiguous vineyards on terraces overlooking the Tarn River, with views across to Gaillac and the hillsides on the opposite bank.

An organic estate in Gaillac, Southwest France, crafting expressive wines from indigenous varieties like Braucol on the terraces of the Tarn River.
