Paul Millerioux
About the Winery
Paul Millerioux is a wine producer in the Loire Valley. The Millerioux family has worked the land for several generations in the Sancerre region, located in the Upper Loire. The estate of Georges Millerioux et Fils comprises 17 hectares of vines planted predominantly on limestone soils with multiple soil types including the famous flint of 'Les Romains'. Since 2008, the domain has been run by Nicolas, son of Jean-Claude, who has converted the vineyards to organic farming with certification in progress. Nicolas aims to produce Sancerre that tastes like it did in the early 20th century, before vine cloning and industrial practices, using indigenous yeasts and minimal sulfur.
“A multi-generational Sancerre producer crafting organic wines of breathtaking purity from limestone and flint terroirs.”
