Michel Defrance is a wine producer in Fixin, a small village in the Côte de Nuits region of Burgundy. Fixin is known for producing robust, tannic Pinot Noir wines that benefit from aging. The village has five Premier Cru vineyards and produces wines with excellent value compared to its more famous neighbors. The terroir of Fixin features limestone and marl soils, contributing to the structure and mineral character of the wines.
