Domaine de la Grande Bellane
About the Winery
Domaine de la Grande Bellane is an organic estate perched on the steep hills of the southern Rhône valley at Valréas, now covering 45 hectares of vines at over 400 meters altitude. The history of this domaine is quite unusual: it was after the First World War, in 1919, that the Raoul family decided to transform their factory into a wine domaine. Today, the torch is carried by Lionel and Damien, the 5th generation. All parcels are worked according to organic farming rules for the past 30 years, with the aim of preserving the authenticity and singularity of the terroir. The domain produces AOP Côtes du Rhône Villages – Valréas wines.
“An organic estate since 1919 in Valréas, crafting authentic Côtes du Rhône Villages wines from high-altitude vineyards for over 100 years.”
