Jean-paul Acker
About the Winery
Jean-Paul Acker is a wine producer in Bordeaux, creating wines under the Château Acker Perreau label. The property is one of the oldest in the Entre-Deux-Mers region, a beautiful master's house from 1780 that was formerly a dependency of the Château-Fort de Benauge. Located at 109 meters altitude in Arbis, the 37-hectare estate is planted with 50% Merlot and 50% Cabernet Sauvignon on gravelly clay soils. The wine is vinified in thermo-regulated stainless steel tanks to produce round, fruity, and elegant wines without astringency. The property also offers guest rooms.
“One of the oldest properties in Entre-Deux-Mers, crafting round and fruity Bordeaux wines from Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.”
