About the Winery
Gabriel Remuet is a wine producer in Régnié-Durette, one of the ten Beaujolais crus in the northern part of the region. Régnié is known for producing elegant, aromatic Gamay wines from its pink granite and schist soils. The cru was granted its status in 1988, making it the newest of the Beaujolais crus. Wines from Régnié are known for their floral aromatics, red berry flavors, and silky tannins, offering a distinctive expression of Gamay that is both approachable and age-worthy. The vineyards are situated on hillsides that provide excellent exposure and drainage, contributing to the wine's concentration and finesse.
“A producer in Régnié-Durette crafting elegant, aromatic Gamay wines from pink granite terroir.”
