About the Winery
Domaine Berchoux is a Beaujolais estate located in Le Perréon, in the northern part of the Beaujolais region. The domain produces wines from the Beaujolais and Beaujolais-Villages appellations, working primarily with the Gamay grape variety. The estate is managed by brothers M. and T. Berchoux, who continue the family tradition of crafting terroir-driven Beaujolais wines. The region's pink granite soils and hillside vineyards give the wines their characteristic freshness, fruitiness, and mineral backbone. The domain practices traditional Beaujolais winemaking, including semi-carbonic maceration, to produce wines that are expressive, approachable, and true to their terroir.
