About the Winery

Christophe Chasle is a wine producer in Saint-Patrice, in the Touraine region of the Loire Valley. The area is known for producing wines from the Chinon and Bourgueil appellations, primarily from Cabernet Franc, as well as Chenin Blanc and Sauvignon Blanc for white wines. The Loire Valley's temperate climate and diverse soils, including limestone tuffeau and gravel, create ideal conditions for producing elegant, fresh wines. Saint-Patrice is situated near the Vienne River, a tributary of the Loire, and benefits from the moderating influence of the river on its vineyards. The region has a long history of winemaking dating back to Roman times.
