Domaine Valayer is a family-owned winery located in Vinsobres, a cru village in the southern Rhône Valley. Vinsobres was elevated to cru status in 2006, recognizing the exceptional quality of its wines, which are made primarily from Grenache and Syrah. The estate crafts wines from the Vinsobres appellation as well as Côtes du Rhône, producing reds that are known for their depth, complexity, and ability to age. The terroir of Vinsobres features a mix of limestone, clay, and marl soils at altitude, giving the wines a distinctive freshness and elegance alongside their power and concentration. The Valayer family has been producing wines for generations, maintaining traditional methods while continuously improving quality.
