About the Winery
Domaine Cousin et Fils is a Loire Valley winery located in Martigné-Briand, in the Anjou region. The domain produces wines from several Loire appellations including Anjou, Coteaux du Layon, and Cabernet d'Anjou. The estate is known for its traditional approach to winemaking, working with grape varieties typical of the Loire Valley such as Cabernet Franc, Chenin Blanc, and Gamay. The Anjou region is celebrated for its diverse wine styles, from dry whites to lusciously sweet Coteaux du Layon wines and vibrant Roses. The schist and limestone soils of the region contribute to wines with excellent freshness and mineral character.
