Vieux Château Renaissance
About the Winery
Vieux Château Renaissance is a 28-hectare wine estate located near the historic sites of Pommiers and Sauveterre-de-Guyenne, in the Entre-deux-Mers region of Bordeaux. The property belongs to the Turtaut family and has been in conversion to organic farming since 2022. Entre-deux-Mers is the largest sub-region of Bordeaux, situated between the Garonne and Dordogne rivers, known for producing crisp white wines from Sauvignon Blanc, Sémillon, and Muscadelle, as well as red wines. The estate's commitment to organic viticulture reflects a growing trend in Bordeaux toward more sustainable farming practices. The property's historic setting, near a castrum and medieval bastide, adds to its charm and character.
