Scea Altu Pratu
About the Winery
SCEA Altu Pratu (Clos Colonna) is a 7.5-hectare wine estate located in the southeastern part of Corsica, between Sartène and the Bay of Tizzano, near the prehistoric menhirs of Paddaghju. The estate has been managed by Frédéric Leccia since 2008. Corsica has a unique wine culture with indigenous grape varieties such as Niellucciu, Sciacarello, and Vermentino that produce distinctive wines reflecting the island's Mediterranean climate and diverse terroirs. Altu Pratu produces wines that express the character of this exceptional location, where the sea, mountains, and Mediterranean vegetation create a unique environment for viticulture.
“A 7.5-hectare Corsican estate near prehistoric menhirs, crafting wines from indigenous varieties in a unique Mediterranean setting.”
