About the Winery

Cave Coopérative ACV is a cooperative winery in the Charentes region of western France. The Charentes region is best known for producing Cognac and Pineau des Charentes, but also produces a range of still wines. Cooperative wineries play an important role in the French wine industry, bringing together multiple growers to pool resources and expertise. The ACV cooperative produces wines that reflect the maritime-influenced climate and limestone soils of the Charentes region, working with grape varieties such as Ugni Blanc (primarily for Cognac), Colombard, and Sauvignon Blanc for whites, as well as Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot for reds.
