Sarl champagne Assailly-Leclaire
About the Winery
Champagne Assailly-Leclaire & Fils is a prestigious Champagne house founded in 1899 in Avize, a Grand Cru village in the Côte des Blancs. The estate spans 10 hectares of vines planted exclusively to Chardonnay, making it a specialist in Blanc de Blancs champagnes. The domaine was founded by Vincent Assailly's great-grandfather, and the family has maintained a lineage of passionate winemakers. In 1948, the house name was changed to Assailly-Leclaire et Fils. The estate produces approximately 60,000 bottles annually, with 30% exported to Belgium, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Italy, Japan, New Zealand, and South Korea. Their champagnes are renowned for freshness, remarkable elegance, and finesse, developing wonderful aromas that make them perfect for celebrating special moments. The rich chalky limestone soil and south-facing exposure of Avize have been at the top of viticultural rankings for over a century.
