Raymond Bouland
About the Winery
Raymond Bouland is a wine producer in Villié-Morgon, in the Beaujolais region of France, crafting wines from the Morgon cru. Morgon is one of the ten Beaujolais crus and is particularly known for producing wines of depth and intensity from the Gamay grape. The Morgon appellation covers 1,110 hectares on the eastern slopes of Mont du Py, with diverse soils including pink granite, alluvial deposits, and clay. Bouland produces wines that showcase the power and structure characteristic of Morgon, with vibrant fresh fruit aromas, hints of violets and wildflowers, and a fleshy palate with freshness and vibrancy. His wines represent the classic Cru Beaujolais style with aging potential.
