Faussié
About the Winery
Faussié (Château de Violet) is a wine producer in the Languedoc-Roussillon region of southern France. The Languedoc is the largest wine-producing region in France, stretching along the Mediterranean coast from the Rhône to the Spanish border. The region has undergone a remarkable transformation in recent decades, shifting from bulk wine production to quality-focused winemaking. Château de Violet produces wines that reflect the warm Mediterranean climate and diverse terroirs of the Languedoc, working with classic southern French grape varieties such as Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre, and Carignan for reds, as well as Viognier, Grenache Blanc, and Marsanne for whites.
“Languedoc producer crafting wines that reflect the warm Mediterranean climate and diverse terroirs of southern France.”
