Domaine de la Sorba
About the Winery
Domaine de la Sorba is a 20-hectare wine estate on the island of Corsica, France. Louis Musso took over the domaine in 2000 from his father, who was a cooperative member. Under Louis's leadership, the estate was equipped with modern vinification facilities. Corsica has a unique wine culture with indigenous grape varieties such as Niellucciu, Sciacarello, and Vermentino that produce distinctive wines reflecting the island's Mediterranean climate and diverse terroirs. The estate produces wines in various Corsican appellations, benefiting from the island's exceptional sunshine and the influence of the sea. Domaine de la Sorba represents the new generation of Corsican winemaking, combining tradition with modern techniques to produce wines that express the unique character of this Mediterranean island.
“A 20-hectare Corsican estate where Louis Musso combines tradition with modern winemaking to craft distinctive Mediterranean wines.”
