Bernard Campenio
About the Winery
Bernard Campenio is a wine producer based in the Provence region of southeastern France. Provence is the oldest wine-producing region in France, with a history dating back to the ancient Greeks. The region is world-famous for its Rose wines, which account for the majority of production, but also produces excellent red and white wines. The Mediterranean climate, with abundant sunshine and the cooling influence of the Mistral wind, creates ideal conditions for grape growing. Campenio represents the tradition of small independent producers in Provence who craft wines that express the unique character of this sun-drenched region, working with classic Provençal grape varieties such as Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Cinsault, and Rolle (Vermentino).
