About the Winery

Domaine Bernard Maréchal (also known as Domaine Maréchal-Caillot) is a respected Burgundy estate located in Bligny-lès-Beaune, in the Côte de Beaune region. The domaine spans approximately 10 hectares spread across five communes: Pommard, Chorey-lès-Beaune, Savigny-lès-Beaune, Ladoix, and Bligny-lès-Beaune. For Bernard Maréchal, rigor is the guiding principle in both vineyard and cellar. The estate is known for well-built wines that maintain high quality standards across all cuvées. Vineyard work is meticulous, with vines cultivated using traditional methods without chemical fertilizers and with integrated pest management. The harvest is 100% manual, followed by sorting on a sorting table. Vinification follows traditional methods with 12 months of aging in oak barrels (10% new). The estate produces approximately 50,000 bottles annually from 8.6 hectares planted, with an average vine age of 40 years. The wines are predominantly Pinot Noir with some Chardonnay and Aligoté.

A rigorous Burgundy estate of 10 hectares across five communes, producing well-structured Pinot Noir and Chardonnay wines.
