About the Winery

Domaine des Arcades is a 6-hectare estate in the Beaujolais region, distributed by Maison Thorin. Founded in 1843 by an old Beaujolais family, this négociant business sources from approximately 450 winegrowers and is now a subsidiary of the Boisset group. The estate is particularly known for its Morgon wines, one of the ten crus of Beaujolais. Morgon wines are among the deepest and most intense of all Beaujolais crus, produced from the Gamay grape variety. The domaine's wines are characterized by their deep red color, cherry compote aromas infused with star anise, and concentrated, densely fruity palate with well-structured tannins that suggest good aging potential. Today, the domaine continues to represent the excellence of Beaujolais terroir through its range of wines.
