Domaine les Poroutes is a wine estate in Fitou, the oldest AOC in Languedoc (recognized in 1948). Located in the Aude department, the estate produces red wines from traditional varieties including Carignan, Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre. Fitou wines are known for their concentration and character, benefiting from a typically Mediterranean climate with two distinct terroirs: Fitou Maritime near the coast and Fitou Montagneux in the mountainous inland.
