Lucien Lardy
About the Winery
Lucien Lardy is a wine producer in the Beaujolais region, based in the village of Fleurie. He is one of the founding members of 'Terroirs Originels', a collective of independent winemakers from Beaujolais and the Mâconnais committed to making estate-grown wines with sustainable farming practices. Lardy owns around 35 acres of vines split between Fleurie, Moulin-à-Vent, Morgon, and Beaujolais-Villages. He vinifies each plot separately to create complex wines that display the characteristics of each terroir. His wines are known for being concentrated yet approachable, with impressive old vine holdings.
“Founding member of Terroirs Originels, crafting expressive Gamay from prestigious Beaujolais crus including Fleurie and Moulin-à-Vent.”
