Jean-Claude Belland is a wine producer in Santenay, a village at the southern end of the Côte de Beaune in Burgundy. The Belland family is one of the notable wine families in Santenay. The domaine produces wines from Santenay Premier Cru appellations, primarily from Pinot Noir for reds and Chardonnay for whites. Santenay is known for its red wines with firm tannins and good structure, as well as its 12 Premier Cru climats including La Comme, Les Gravières, and Clos de Tavannes. The village borders the famous appellations of Chassagne-Montrachet and Puligny-Montrachet.
