About the Winery
Chantal and Anders Boisen-Roclore are associated with Château de Fleurie in the Beaujolais region. The Château de Fleurie is an 18th-century estate that dominates a beautiful vineyard in the heart of the village, with views of Mont Blanc. The Boisen and Barbet families are direct descendants of the original owner. The property covers 4.5 hectares stretching over the best sites in Fleurie including Les Grands Fers, La Madone, and Le Point du Jour on southeast-facing middle slopes. The soil is of very pure pink granite called 'le gore' which provides ideal drainage. Fleurie is known as the 'Queen of the Beaujolais' for its elegant style of Gamay.
“Producers of elegant Fleurie wines from pink granite soils in the 'Queen of the Beaujolais'.”
