About the Winery

Champagne Henri Giraud is a historic Champagne house with roots dating to the 17th century in Aÿ, one of only 17 Grand Cru villages in Champagne. The house is known for its innovative use of oak from the Argonne forest for fermentation, which brings complexity and richness to their Champagnes. Claude Giraud, 12th generation of the family, introduced sustainable and natural agricultural practices. The house produces Champagnes from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, with cuvées including Esprit Nature, Aÿ Rouge Grand Cru, and the prestigious Fût de Chêne series. The estate also includes the Manoir Henri Giraud, a luxury guesthouse with a spa offering unique Crayotherapy treatments using Champagne chalk.

A historic Grand Cru Champagne house in Aÿ since the 17th century, known for oak-fermented Champagnes from Argonne forest oak.
