Domaine la Tourraque
About the Winery
On the classified site of the Three Caps (Lardier, Camarat, and Taillat) on the Saint-Tropez peninsula, the domain's 36 hectares of organically converted vines extend to the sea alongside four hundred olive trees. The estate has been family-run since 1805 and recently obtained organic certification (Bio Ecocert). They produce AOC Côtes de Provence wines in all three colors, as well as their own olive oil. The property stretches over 40 hectares with 370 olive trees cultivated. The proximity of the Mediterranean Sea favorably influences the wines, bringing a distinctive saline character. Oenologist José Craveris has since passed the reins to the new generation. The estate offers a tasting room and activities including yoga, nature walks, and winery visits.
