About the Winery

Jacques Mabileau created this estate in 1968. His son Vincent joined him in 1998, and together they modernized and expanded their operation, which now extends over 19 hectares in the Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil appellation of the Loire Valley. The estate produces red wines primarily from Cabernet Franc, the signature grape of Bourgueil. Their wines are known for their freshness, fruit character, and ability to age gracefully. The family's commitment to quality has made them a respected name in the appellation, with wines that showcase the unique terroir of Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil on the banks of the Loire River.
