Guy Cuisset

About the Winery

In 1978, Guy Cuisset established himself on the estate acquired in 1929 on the left bank of the Dordogne by his grandfather, who came from Thiérache on the Belgian border. Improving winemaking techniques, he made this vineyard a reliable producer, certified organic since 2009. In 2018, his sons Julien and Gabriel took over the property, farming it biodynamically and as members of the Bee Friendly network. The estate, Château Grinou, produces wines from Bergerac and Monbazillac appellations, focusing on traditional grape varieties of the region. The family's commitment to organic and biodynamic practices reflects their deep respect for the land and desire to produce wines that truly express their terroir.
