Georges-constantin Buzéa
About the Winery
Domaine Buzéa Georges-Constantin & Fils is a family estate situated in the Moselle Valley, near Metz, in the Alsace-Lorraine wine region. The property was created in 1998 by Georges-Constantin Buzea and taken over by his son Georgian in 2014. The 8.5-hectare vineyard is planted on steep slopes in the villages of Ancy-sur-Moselle, Dornot, and Novéant. They cultivate numerous grape varieties: Auxerrois, Gewurztraminer, Riesling, Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Blanc, producing still wines, sparkling wines (including Frizzant d'Eté), and Méthode Traditionnelle. The estate has adopted creative winemaking with unexpected blends and original formats. Georgian Buzea is known for his imaginative approach, producing wines designed to delight and surprise, with names that make you smile. The domain works with respect for the environment, and even uses Ouessant sheep to graze between vine rows.
“A creative family estate in the Moselle Valley with 8.5 hectares, producing 12 cuvées from six grape varieties since 1998.”
