Le Petit Chambord

About the Winery

François Cazin is the fourth generation to run Le Petit Chambord, a family estate of 23-24 hectares situated on the edge of the forest of Cheverny, at the gateway to the Sologne region in the Loire Valley. The property has been transmitted from father to son for four generations and is regularly selected in wine guides. François Cazin is particularly known for his white wines made from Romorantin, the signature grape of the Cour-Cheverny appellation, planted on clay-limestone soils. The estate produces Cheverny AOC wines (red, white, and Rose), Cour-Cheverny from Romorantin, and Crémant de Loire. The domain is HVE (Haute Valeur Environnementale) certified, practicing soil maintenance through cultivation, grassing, manual harvesting, and traditional vinification with indigenous yeasts and no filtration during aging.

A fourth-generation estate at the edge of the Cheverny forest, renowned for Romorantin-based Cour-Cheverny whites and HVE certification.
