Scea guy Bonnaud
About the Winery
The Bonnaud family estate was created in 1900 at Les Cailletières in Gourville, in the Charentes region. In 1958, André Bonnaud took the helm of this family farm, which at the time was a small mixed-farming operation with just a few vineyard parcels. André Bonnaud developed the vineyard, which grew from 2 hectares to 50 hectares today. The estate is now run by his son, daughter-in-law, and two grandsons who represent the next generation. Located in the Fins Bois cognac region, the family produces both Pineau des Charentes and Cognac, with a focus on traditional methods passed down through generations. The estate cultivates Ugni Blanc, Colombard, Sémillon, and Montils grape varieties.
“A family estate in the Charentes since 1900, growing from 2 hectares to 50 hectares under three generations of the Bonnaud family.”
