About the Winery

Château Beauportail is a passionate winemaker's estate located in the Pécharmant and Monbazillac appellations near Bergerac. The winemaker was elected Winemaker of the Year 2015. The estate has been working for 20 years to produce wines that are the expression of local products and the winemaker's desires, with wines given 12 to 24 months to create and evolve. The property sits on the Côtes de Pécharmant, one of the most prestigious appellations of Bergerac, known for its iron-rich clay soils that produce powerful, long-aging red wines from Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Malbec.
