Pierre et jérôme Coursodon
About the Winery
The Coursodon family has been established for four generations in Mauves, the birthplace of the Saint-Joseph appellation in the Northern Rhône. Pierre Coursodon and his son Jérôme, who joined in 1999, manage 17 hectares of vines dedicated exclusively to Saint-Joseph, primarily in its red version. The estate produces five different red cuvées (Étincelle, Silice, Le Paradis Saint-Pierre, and La Sensonne) expressing the different terroirs of this vast appellation, as well as white wines from Marsanne, Roussanne, and Viognier. The domaine is known for its consistency and quality, regularly earning stars and 'coup de cœur' selections from wine guides. The wines are characterized by their elegance, precision, and authentic expression of Syrah on granitic soils.
“A four-generation family estate in Mauves, birthplace of Saint-Joseph, producing exclusively within the appellation across 17 hectares.”
